It's September and summer is coming to a close. It's a happy time for Jackie because it means her kids are back in school and cooler weather is approaching, she loves the fall and is looking forward to pumpkins, crispy leaves, and lots of baked apple goodness! But Jill on the other hand loves everything about the summer and wishes it could linger a little longer.
Jill had an exceptionally inspiring summer; a trip to France for a wedding where she visited a very delightful macaroon shop, enjoyed scenic picnic lunches by the ocean and attended as well as hosted a few garden parties. Jill enjoys making her own dresses and inspired by her summer adventures, created this party dress mock up from the pattern she recently entered into Spoonflower's Rustic Fall competition. The design is called Hips, Heads and Pods, and it will be available for sale in her Spoonflower shop just in time to make an autumn party dress before it gets too chilly.
Jackie's summer wasn't as a adventurous as Jill's. Her husband left for a long deployment with the U.S. Army so the summer adventures she would have normally enjoyed have been put on hold until next summer. Jackie did however get an adorable new Weimaraner puppy named Lola, who will most likely be the subject of an upcoming pattern collection. And longing for her favorite season, Jackie created several autumn inspired collections. She's made two of these collections available for purchase in her Spoonflower shop as fabric, wallpaper and gift-wrap. Today she is sharing a few designs from Woodland Bunnies, more to follow on her Autumn Folk Hedgehogs.
